Our Mission

We educate students in a variety of art media, providing the space, tools, guidance, and encouragement they require to realize their potential. In doing so, we support the community beyond our doors as well, fostering a society where imagination and curiosity flourish.

 

Our Classes

The Littleton Studio School offers year-round art and craft classes for students of all ages and abilities.
All classes encourage students to enjoy and explore a variety of venues.  Some classes are held at the School, whiles others are held off site. Open studio is offered to all who have been enrolled in a class. 


Clay

The Littleton Studio School clay studio offers a variety of classes for students of all abilities.  Beginners can learn the basics of throwing and hand-building, with the opportunity to advance their skills through a variety of classes.  Intermediate and advanced potters are offered one or two day workshops, and mentoring from other potters. The School has numerous skilled and talented instructors, some of whom are juried with the League of NH Craftsmen.
Our clay studio includes: 

  • Seven electric pottery wheels

  • Two electric kilns

  • Space for hand-building

  • Slab roller

  • Glazing area with a variety of glazes

  • Ample shelving and storage

 

metal / jewelry

The Littleton Studio School offers a variety of classes in metal and jewelry techniques for all ages and abilities.  Classes are taught by skilled artisans, some of whom are juried members of the League of NH Craftsman.

Mixed media

Mixed Media encompasses a variety of classes for all ages and interests.  Adults, teens and younger children can enjoy different classes from semester to semester, including but not limited to: oil and watercolor painting, basketweaving, felting, kiln repair, mixed media exploration & stained glass.

kids classes

The Littleton Studio School prides itself in offering a variety of classes geared toward the aspiring younger artist. It is possible for capable young artists to take classes with adults, if interested.

The Littleton Studio School encourages artists of all ages and abilities to get involved.  The School prides itself on being a judgement-free zone. We believe that art is a way to express yourself have fun, be part of a community, contribute to society, and make friends. Sign up for a class and find out for yourself.
