Dive into the world of blacksmithing in this hands-on class. Learn to forge a coffee scoop, blending the beauty of copper and steel into a piece of functional art.  Students will forge a textured copper dome with swage blocks for aesthetic charm.  Forging a steel handle is next, using traditional hammer and anvil techniques.  The choices for handles range from simple to intricate designs—even repurpose a horseshoe for a unique touch.  An excellent class for couples or parents & teens (separate registrations for each person).
