Forging is an ancient art of hammering metal to transform the shape and width of wire. Using different sized hammers, steel blocks and anvil, we will forge 8g to 20g. wire into different rings, bracelets and earrings. We will be exploring different hammers to create a variety of textures. Nugold, copper and sterling will be used. This is a noisy class and very physical as well.
