9-Week Session

Thursdays,

Join Sarah for a true intermediate throwing session. Learn Lids, Stacking, Sets, and Trimming, 

8, 2hr classes. 1 skip week after class 6.

Week 1-. Throw 4 similar cylinders with cup lip. carve original maker's mark.

Week 2- trimming and pulling handle demo. Glaze test, do them if you’re going to. (I can make test tiles prior.)

Week 3- build on throwing 

Week 4- off the hump demo/ lids. Using calipers. Knobs. Flange and gallery demo. 

Week 5- Using your jar as a chuck. Throwing/trimming knobs. 

Week 6-  Stacking forms to get height demo. Build on skills. 

Week 7- skip week* dry/ fire 

Week 8- share bisque work. glaze.

Week 9- glaze
