One Day Workshop - Ages 16+

Saturday, January 10th 10:00 to 3:00PM

Material Fee: $20 - $50 paid to instructor 

Create a set of elegant, minimalist stacking rings while learning the fundamentals of tube setting. In this hands-on class, you’ll work with sterling silver and a 4mm faceted gemstone to craft rings that look beautiful worn alone or together.

You’ll learn how to:

• Measure, form, and solder simple stacking rings

• Prepare and size a tube setting for your stone

• Solder the tube setting securely onto your ring band

• Clean and polish your rings for a smooth finish

• Set a faceted 4mm gemstone using stone-setting techniques

This class is for complete beginners and experienced jewelers alike. You’ll leave with a sparkling tube-set ring (or a small stack!) and the skills to continue creating stone-set rings on your own.

Spend a fun and creative day at the bench and add a new technique to your metalsmithing toolkit!
