One Day Workshop

Sunday, June 30th 10:00 to 4:00PM

Material Fee: $TBD - Instructor will provide a limited amount of sterling tubing, half round and flat wire, and small faceted gemstones for setting.

We will do flush settings, which is setting stones flush with the metal for a seamless look. Smaller stones flush-set better than larger stones, so 4mm and smaller are best for flush-setting. We will be working primarily in small faceted round gems, 1.5mm to 4mm. We will also discuss modifications to various flush settings.

Basic metalsmithing or jewelry skills are necessary for this workshop, even if students only had a basic Jewelry 101 class.
